With many students returning to school this fall, many risks of spreading COVID-19 can occur. Here at Safe Cubbies, we give you our advice on how to maintain a sanitary classroom to decrease the risks of spreading COVID-19. Schools are packed with germs as it is because the students and faculty touch their faces and then touch many of the same things. During a pandemic, this is a recipe for disaster. We want to make sure that you are keeping your school as sanitary as possible, so everyone continues to stay safe during this pandemic, even with school starting. Luckily, there are many classroom solutions that you can partake in to ensure that students are staying clean, social distancing, and taking the pandemic as seriously as possible. It’s important to remember that people are not just returning to school in the Fort Lauderdale area, but that they are returning to school all over the United States. That is why we expand our services throughout the country to help in any way we can.
How To Maintain A Sanitary Classroom
You are probably wondering what types of classroom solutions we recommend to stay as safe as possible in schools during COVID-19. Social distancing is a major factor when it comes to sanitation because social distancing prevents students from accumulating and touching the same things and spreading the virus from one person to another in general. We recommend taking precautions, such as making sure that students stay in their respective groups and that they do not mix together with other classes. Also, it’s important to not share any popular school supplies such as books, pens, pencils, or desks. The best way to achieve this is by reorganizing the classroom, so students are separated from each other and are using different materials. We also advise students not to go on any trips away from school. Plus, make sure that no outside people come into the school such as speakers or substitutes. You never know where the people outside of the school have been. It’s also very important to keep an eye out for long lines with many students and to refrain from large meetings and any sort of accumulation among students and faculty.
Along with social distancing, cleaning is one of the major classroom solutions that you should be partaking in. The best way to stay clean is to consistently throughout the day, wash your hands with warm water and soap. This might seem like a simple task, but many people still don’t know how to properly wash their hands. Use warm water and soap and sing the song “Happy Birthday”for the duration of your handwashing. Another tip from us is to be sure to clean the desks and other materials that students touch with cleaners that contain alcohol.
It Takes Everyone
Above all else, it truly takes everyone to chip in to achieve safety within classrooms. That is to say, unless everyone does their part and social distances, washes their hands and sanitizes what they touch, we can stop the spread of COVID-19 together.
